Three standalone programs. NISM certification built in. Real hiring pipelines into NBFCs, brokerages, banks, and AMCs — all from one structured pathway.
Each program stands on its own — enroll at the level that fits you. Every program has its own assessment gate and standalone credential. Alumni who complete one program can upgrade to the next at any time.
NISM certifications are mandatory for most BFSI distribution and advisory roles in India. Genvarsity integrates preparation for the most relevant NISM series directly into the curriculum — not as an afterthought, but as a core module.
Mandatory for anyone distributing mutual fund products. Most widely required certification across AMCs, IFAs, and NBFCs.
Certificate ProgramRequired for broking and trading roles. Covers futures, options, and derivatives market structure — essential for brokerages.
Certificate ProgramCovers back-office operations, settlement, and risk management functions in securities market infrastructure.
Advanced CertificateCovers commodity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, and currency derivatives — relevant for treasury and trading desks.
Advanced CertificateRequired for SEBI-registered investment advisers. Strong relevance for wealth management and financial planning roles.
Professional CertificateAdvanced-level distributor certification covering portfolio construction, risk assessment, and advisory frameworks.
Professional CertificateNote: Genvarsity provides examination preparation and study support. NISM certifications are issued by the National Institute of Securities Markets — a SEBI-established body — and must be cleared directly by the learner. Exam fees are not included in the program fee.
Each program has its own curriculum and assessment gate. Programs build progressively — and each one earns a standalone credential.
Genvarsity BFSI graduates are trained for the roles that are actually hiring — across NBFCs, brokerages, AMCs, and banks at scale.

Each stage has a formal assessment gate. This is how the credential earns its meaning — and how employers trust it.
Tests industry knowledge, product understanding, NISM readiness, and basic customer interaction skills.
Evaluates functional competence, simulation performance, compliance awareness, and sales depth.
Comprehensive assessment of credit, wealth, analytics capability, and placement readiness indicators.
All fees are paid in full upfront at enrollment. No EMI, no instalments. No hidden charges.
No prior finance background is required for Certificate Program. The program is designed to bring complete beginners into the BFSI sector systematically. Certificate Program starts from first principles — the structure of the financial system, product basics, and regulatory orientation. Stages 2 and 3 build progressively on that foundation.
No. NISM certifications are issued by the National Institute of Securities Markets, a SEBI-established body, and must be cleared by the learner directly through NISM's own examination process. Genvarsity provides preparation, mock tests, and exam strategy within the curriculum. NISM exam fees are separate and not included in the program fee. Successfully clearing an NISM exam is not a prerequisite to receive your Genvarsity program certificate.
Yes, you may enroll directly into Advanced Certificate Program or Professional Certificate Program if you already have demonstrated BFSI knowledge or prior work experience in financial services. This will be assessed during your counsellor conversation before enrollment. If you enroll for Professional Certificate Program directly, you still go through the complete Professional Certificate Program curriculum and must clear the relevant assessment gate. Paying upfront does not bypass assessments.
You can re-attempt the assessment. While preparing for a re-attempt, a monthly infrastructure fee of ₹1,800 applies to maintain platform access. Program fees are non-refundable. There is no cap on re-attempt count, but continued enrollment requires the infrastructure fee to remain active.
No. Submitting a registration of interest adds your details to our admissions queue. A Genvarsity counsellor will reach out to understand your background, recommend the right stage, and answer your questions. If you decide to proceed, you'll receive an enrollment link via email with payment and onboarding instructions. No payment or commitment is required at the registration stage.
Yes. All three stages are delivered entirely online through the Genvarsity platform — including live sessions, recorded modules, mentor reviews, role simulation labs, and assessments. You can access the program from anywhere in India. There is no mandatory physical attendance required for the foundation or advanced stages. Professional Certificate Program field immersion components may involve site visits depending on partner availability — this will be confirmed during enrollment.
No. Genvarsity certificates are private credentials issued by Genvarsity upon completing a structured upskilling program. They are not government-recognised qualifications, not approved by SEBI, IRDAI, RBI, UGC, AICTE, or any statutory body, and are not equivalent to any degree, diploma, or government-issued certification. NISM certifications, which are SEBI-recognised, are separate — Genvarsity prepares you for them, but does not issue them.
No. Genvarsity is an independent private upskilling platform. Our programs are not degree programs, carry no academic credit, and are not affiliated with any university or college. We do not award Bachelor's, Master's, or any academic qualification. Our programs are designed entirely for industry skill development and job readiness in the BFSI sector.
No. Program fees are non-refundable once enrollment is confirmed and your cohort seat is locked. We strongly encourage every learner to speak with a counsellor, review the curriculum, and understand the program fully before committing. The registration stage is your opportunity to ask every question — no payment is required at that point.
All graduates are profiled on Scout Express — Genvarsity's hiring partner platform — where their credentials, assessments, and profiles are visible to verified BFSI employers. Professional Certificate Program graduates receive priority placement support including resume review, mock interviews, and direct employer connects. Placement assistance is support-based — Genvarsity does not guarantee job placement or specific compensation outcomes.
If you've completed the BFSI Certificate or Advanced Certificate Program, you can upgrade to the next program.
Scout Express is our go-to platform for talent, and within it, Genvarsity-trained candidates are simply premium. They arrive prepared, they perform faster, and they stay longer. That's everything we look for.
